Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as behavioral therapy, art therapy, and psychopharmacology to address client needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive treatment
- Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support
- Conduct regular evaluations of treatment progress and make adjustments as needed
- Work with individuals on the autism spectrum to develop strategies for managing symptoms and improving quality of life
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide direct support and guidance to clients during therapy sessions
- Experience in case management and coordinating care for clients
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation
