Ability to develop positive relationships with young people and to work well with school staff membersGeneral understanding of how children learn and the social and emotional needs of childrenUnder supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events and other educational or non educational activities Classroom supervision of students in preparation for lunch, bus loading and unloading, cleanup, and play periodsEscorting and supervising movement of students throughout the schoolParticipate in available professional development activities appropriate to district expectations.
