Reports To: Director of Power Generation Operations
Location: Midland, TX or Houston, TX
Amount of Travel Required: up to 20%
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Positions Supervised: Sub-Team Managers
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Relocation and Field Service Manager will lead the vision and execution of all Power Generation Support activities for their respective area for all of Evolution, which includes Power Generation assets, and all frac assets. They will work very closely with the Shop Manager, Regional Managers, and Area Power Generation Manager, to strategically appoint teams to assist and lead maintenance efforts in both the shop and the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
- Manage multiple teams with various disciplines across the team for Power Generation and Frac move teams, field service, and electrical strategic support staff tied to all assets on the job site.
- Ensure training and progression plans are adequate for growth and movement.
- Ensure to conduct work in accordance with safety processes, standard operating procedures, and site-specific policies.
- Build and maintain a strong network tied to all critical assets supported.
- Strategically coordinate efforts for proactive maintenance plans and personnel deployment to job sites.
- Develop internal work processes and operating procedures.
- Project Management on new innovations and ways of doing business.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License. Employment is contingent upon meeting the company's driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with the company's policy.
- Daily overtime required and in-person, predictable attendance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Power Generation equipment maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
- Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training, including but not limited to H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
- Attends and successfully completes annual safety and operations recertification training.
- Able to effectively communicate with various internal and external teams.
- Ability to successfully work within a team environment to complete assigned tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledgeable and compliant with digital platforms including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA and other company mandated systems. For new hires, ability to quickly learn and navigate company platforms.
- Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
- Efficient at Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT: (Promotions may occur only after the following qualifications have been satisfied. Promotions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of position openings.)
- Time in Position: Minimum 12 months.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and or exceed performance goals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and impact gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. May be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, must be able to lift <50 lbs. independently and 50-100 lbs. with a team lift.
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
