Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packaged and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety while adhering to company standards.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Packaging products according to specifications and quality standards, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, to facilitate the packaging process.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all packaging materials are readily available and properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to understand and operate packaging machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and warehouse management systems is an asset.
