Care Specialist Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Specialist to join our team. The Care Specialist will be responsible for providing care and companionship to adults who require assistance, supervision, or support. This includes engaging in personal care, conversation, leading activities, encouraging positive behaviors, and fostering community.

We are a new organization, so this position will grow with us. As our we continue to increase our number of clients, hours will increase as well.

Duties:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under care
- Assist with daily activities such as toileting, eating, and ambulation
- Participate in training programs to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge

-Represent the company to clients and other guests

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA license
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work flexible hours, as needed
- High emotional intelligence and maturity

Skills:
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals under care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
