BetterBody Foods & Nutrition crafts high-quality organic foods for cooking, baking, health, and wellness. This role partners with our Sales to build demand forecasts and translate them into supply plans, inventory targets, and execution priorities. The position owns planning signals—interpreting ERP/MRP outputs with judgment, spotting risks early, and driving action before issues hit service or production. The role also directly manages cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
Essential Job Duties:
- Build demand forecasts with Sales using trends, promotions, customer data, and market inputs.
- Translate forecasts into supply plans, inventory targets, and execution priorities aligned to lead times and service goals.
- Interpret ERP/MRP signals daily — distinguish real requirements from noise, act on exceptions, escalate uncertainties.
- Spot risks early and communicate impacts/recommendations to Sales, Production, Finance before service breaks.
- Lead demand reviews with Sales and cross-functional teams to challenge assumptions and improve forecast quality.
- Monitor KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels) and adjust planning parameters accordingly.
- Manage cycle counting — schedules, training, root cause analysis, variance follow-up, and accuracy improvement.
- Maintain ERP parameters (lead times, safety stock, order policies) and build visibility reports for demand/supply health.
- Partner with Buyers to ensure planning signals drive effective purchasing execution.
Management Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise cycle count team - set standards, schedules, training, and accountability for accuracy.
- Coach on root cause analysis, follow-up discipline, and discrepancy communication.
- Escalate recurring issues to warehouse, production, sales, and finance for permanent fixes.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in supply chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 4–7 years in demand/supply planning, inventory control, or buyer/planner roles
- Direct Sales partnership experience building and reviewing demand forecasts
- ERP proficiency with planning/replenishment transactions; MRP strongly preferred
- Proven ability analyzing forecasts, trends, exceptions into operational actions
- Cross-functional experience with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Finance teams
- Prior people leadership/supervision preferred
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Food/CPG manufacturing or distribution experience
· Cycle count programs and inventory accuracy improvement
· Deacom or similar ERP systems
· S&OP, demand review, or sales planning exposure
· Continuous improvement mindset for planning processes
