Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) Injector to join our team. In this role, you will provide a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to enhance the appearance and confidence of our patients. Your expertise in administering injectables and your commitment to delivering outstanding patient care will be crucial in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations to assess patients’ needs, educate them on available injectable and non-surgical treatments, and develop personalized plans.
- Administer a variety of injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, etc.) with precision and safety, and perform additional procedures such as microneedling, laser treatments, and radiofrequency skin tightening.
- Educate patients/clients on treatment risks, expected outcomes, pre- and post-care, and secure informed consent.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring detailed documentation for treatments, progress, and any adverse reactions, in compliance with HIPAA.
- Perform follow-up appointments to track patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Oversee and perform regular inventory checks of injectable products and medical supplies; ensure safe storage, replenishment, and compliance.
- Maintain a sterile, organized work area and adhere to health, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior injectors and support staff, promoting skill development, best practice adherence, and a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with the med spa team to achieve business goals and ensure consistently excellent client experiences.
- Stay current on the latest trends and advancements in aesthetics through ongoing education and industry events.
- Contribute to patient education, marketing content, and on- or off-site events as a subject matter expert in injectables.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with management on patient retention, service launches, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois licensure as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or experienced Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 3-4 years of cosmetic injection experience in a medical spa setting, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
- Proficiency with microneedling, laser treatments, and skin tightening preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic principles.
- Commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service.
- High attention to detail with a focus on safety and care standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility for working hours, including some evenings/weekends.
