Our office is located inside Affordable Spas and Pools building.
We are looking for the right person to fill a position in Thurston Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm (24 hrs/week). You MUST be able to reliably work ALL weekends! This position is designed to give the caregiver opportunity to pick up other weekday call-off shifts that could be 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. We are searching for that flexible someone to be able to accommodate call-off shifts during the week. You need to be reliable, as you will be an integral member of a 5-person caregiving team. Experience with a feeding tube and giving insulin injections a plus but not required. We train all delegated tasks.

Responsibilities include:
- Personal care involving bathing, dressing/undressing, grooming, toileting
- Transfers to/from bed/wheelchair via hoyer lift
- Wound care experience a plus
- Communication assistance
- Housekeeping, laundry
- Companionship activities
- Transportation assistance
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a good command of the English language to effectively communicate orally and in writing the tasks associated with the client's care
- Must pass a background check
While experience is a plus, it isn't necessary. We are looking for committed caregivers willing to go the mile and will train candidates who possess a good attitude. Base pay is $20.00-$23.00/hour dependent on experience. Incentives are in place for employees who come to work on time and without call-offs.
