Prepared Foods Team Member

Position requires preparation, cooking support, counter service, sanitation, stocking of products, and exceptional customer service. Must be a team player and work well with others. Knowledge of natural organic foods, lifestyle diets such as keto, paleo vegan etc. and preparation is a plus. Working 15-20 hours

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains department layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities
• Achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
• Contributes to a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs to satisfy and delight customers
• Ensures all customers are served in a timely manner so that customer satisfaction is exceeded.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives and box cutters.
• May require use of ladders.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Food handler certificate is a plus.
