The Grocery Team Leader is accountable for all department operations including sub-departments and teams: Frozen Foods, Bulk, Dairy and other applicable areas. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, supervision, buying and merchandising department products, scheduling and managing financials, controlling inventory, complying with relevant regulations and standards, and completing special projects as assigned. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and driven team member.
DUTIES:
- Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution.
- Model and provide our customers with outstanding customer service.
- Train and lead an outstanding team in a manner consistent with Better Health's vision and standards.
- Implement and support all corporate programs.
- Establish a positive work environment and maintain high team morale.
- Develop team members to become our future Team Leaders through leading by example, excellent communication and delivering a clear and concise message.
- Drive team productivity and achieve required labor and margin targets.
- Maintain a well-stocked and beautifully merchandised department.
- Uphold and maintain department and store standards.

- Uphold all Loss Prevention and Safety practices and procedures.

- Ability to be able to work a minimum of 1 opening, closing, mid and weekend shift per week.

- Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department and store.
