Position Summary
We are seeking a strong, dependable House Manager / Lead DSP to oversee daily operations in a residential care home supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
This role requires someone who is experienced with behaviors, confident leading staff, and able to maintain structure, cleanliness, and compliance without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Oversight
- Lead and support DSP staff on shift
- Ensure staff follow schedules, routines, and expectations
- Address performance issues and communicate with management
- Assist with training and onboarding new staff
Client Care & Behavior Support
- Support clients with ADLs (including diaper changes)
- Implement behavior plans and provide de-escalation/redirection
- Step in during behavioral situations and guide staff
House Management
- Ensure the home is clean, organized, and running properly daily
- Monitor supplies, groceries, and inventory
- Maintain structure and routine within the home
Documentation & Compliance
- Oversee daily notes, logs, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Title 22, IPPs, and care plans
- Communicate incidents and updates to administrator
Qualifications
- 2 years experience with developmental disabilities & behaviors REQUIRED
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- RBT, CPI, or behavioral training strongly preferred
- Strong reliability and communication
- Comfortable with personal care (diapers, hygiene)
- Must be organized, proactive, and able to problem-solve
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness)
- Must pass background clearance
Important
This is a hands-on leadership role, not an office position. You will be actively involved in care, staff support, and daily operations.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
