About the Role
As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will solicit, develop, and service a diverse portfolio of commercial loans by working closely with members, prospective clients, referral sources, and internal teams. Your role includes originating and managing loan deals, providing exceptional service throughout the lending process, and building strong community partnerships. You will be a key contributor to achieving production and member growth goals while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective business development strategies to meet goals
- Represent Elevations in the business community as a preferred commercial lender
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial products, services, and market trends
- Solicit and process loan applications, ensuring complete and accurate data collection
- Serve as the primary contact for members during the loan application and approval process
- Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance member relationships
- Manage and actively monitor the commercial loan portfolio
- Ensure adherence to all policies, regulations, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial/business lending and servicing within a financial services company
- Proven success in sales and production roles in financial services
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, services, regulations, and requirements
- Ability to develop strong external partnerships and provide advisory services
