$50,400 (BA, 04, 1.0 FTE, 20262027 Salary Schedule)
Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain Iowa teaching certification with appropriate 512 Business endorsement
- Strong background or experience in accounting preferred
- Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States
- Develop and deliver engaging business and accounting curriculum aligned with state standards
- Teach courses such as accounting, personal finance, and other business-related subjects
- Prepare students with practical financial skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and record keeping
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress using multiple methods and provide timely feedback
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and the community
