Position: High School Paraeducator
Location: Bettendorf Community School District
Hours: Up to 5.75 hours/day
Rate of Pay: $19.02
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students in a school setting
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities, and maintain confidentiality while remaining calm
Courteous and professional when interacting with students, staff, and the public
- Ability to provide instruction based on lesson plans and assist individual students in comprehending concepts
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Effective communication skills with students, teachers, staff, and sometimes parents
- Willingness to participate in additional professional development outside regular work hours
- Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.
