This individual will lead and manage programs that support the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and specialized needs of all students. The role includes oversight of Special Education and Student Services areas and plays a critical role in ensuring equitable access and success for every learner.
Terms of Employment
Contract: 12-month (261-day) contract (prorated)
Salary: $136,684 (includes an 8.5% tax-sheltered annuity in addition to the base salary). Salary will be prorated based on the employee's start date.

Qualifications
- Valid Iowa Administrative Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Experience, training, and/or certification in Special Education
- Demonstrated leadership experience in student services, special education, or school administration
- Knowledge of current federal and state regulations, including IDEA, Section 504, and state/federal categorical programs
- Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States
- Provide leadership and supervision for Special Education and Student Services areas
- Ensure district compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations
- Collaborate with district and building leadership teams to support equitable access and academic achievement for all students
- Manage budgets and staffing across departments within student services
- Develop and lead professional learning focused on inclusion, equity, and best practices in student support
- Partner with families, staff, and community agencies to promote student well-being and school success
