What are the responsibilities and job description for the Email / Text Marketing Manager position at Betsy & Adam | Blondie Nites | Xscape Evenings?
We’re looking for an Email / Text Marketing Manager with a creative, strategic approach to building customer journeys. We want someone who can pair sharp list strategy with scroll-stopping design. If you love crafting emails people actually want to open and know how to make SMS campaigns feel personal (not spammy), this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Manage our email and SMS/MMS marketing from concept to send, building campaigns that are visually stunning and on-brand.
- Work in Klaviyo (email) and Postscript (SMS/MMS) to design, segment, and schedule campaigns.
- Create and manage email flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, loyalty, etc.) that build long-term customer engagement.
- Segment audiences based on behavior, preferences, purchase history, and more to deliver the right message at the right time.
- Run A/B tests, analyze performance, and adjust campaigns to continually improve engagement and conversions.
- Analyze campaign KPIs and provide regular performance reports to the VP of Digital Marketing, highlighting insights and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with our creative team to ensure every email and SMS looks beautiful, feels personal, and drives results while maintaining our branding standards.
What we’re looking for:
- 2 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in D2C e-commerce or fashion.
- Hands-on expertise with Email and text platforms such as Klaviyo and Postscript.
- A strong design eye. You know what makes an email look elevated, engaging, and clickable.
- Solid understanding of segmentation, analytics, and customer journey mapping.
- Creative thinker who can balance data with design.
- Portfolio or campaign examples (links or samples preferred). Show off your favorite email and text campaigns that you've created in your application.
