Job Duties
- Work closely with clients to assess their requirements and preferences for kitchen design.
- Create detailed kitchen layouts, incorporating elements such as cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and lighting.
- Provide expert advice on material selection, color schemes, and overall design aesthetics.
- Utilize design software to present 2D and 3D renderings of proposed kitchen designs (2020 Software)
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials within budget constraints.
- Manage project timelines effectively to ensure timely completion of kitchen design projects.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in kitchen design and incorporate innovative ideas into your work.
- Conduct site visits to assess space dimensions and gather necessary information for design implementation
- Experience with 2020 design software a plus but not required. Ability to learn design tools & comfort with computers is required.
- Proficient in negotiating with clients to reach mutually beneficial design solutions.
- Experience in retail sales or showroom environments beneficial for customer interactions.
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and techniques to provide comprehensive design solutions.
- Familiarity with cash register operations for processing transactions related to design services.
- Skilled in upselling additional products or services to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Background in inside sales or account management to maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively to showcase design concepts to clients.
