Preschool Teacher

Bethany Preschool and Pre-k is looking for a kind, patient, loving, educated and enthusiastic teacher who loves working with children. We are currently hiring in our two year old class and three year old class which is a full time position.

We are a Christ centered Christian school that instills the joys of learning

through biblical foundations and developmentally appropriate activities in a loving and

nurturing environment.

Function: As a teacher at Bethany Preschool, you will help

build a safe and nurturing environment where children can come and learn through play and socialization.

Qualifications:

Enthusiastic, loving and nurturing personality.

Must be 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.

Livescan and no criminal history ( We will assist with the background check)

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certified (We will assist in this)

Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices

Able to communicate fluently with children, staff and parents.

Basic knowledge of the internet, email, and Microsoft word.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Dependable, patient and flexible

Must be able to lift a child up to 30lbs, and sit on the floor with the

children.

Responsibilities:

As a teacher at Bethany, you will have many responsibilities that promote a loving, safe

and educational environment. These responsibilities include creating and implementing activities.

Making sure the environment is maintained in a manner in which the children can be

free to expand on their curiosity as they explore their environment. This will include

safety checks of materials and facility, organization and cleanliness.

Communicating to the parents with daily reports and being available for conferences if

requested.

Continuing with your professional development with college courses, conferences or

workshops.

Working closely with your colleagues and being willing to assist them when the need

arises. This position will work closely with a co-teacher and under the guidance and

direction of our school director.
