The selected Full Time Vascular/General Ultrasound will perform ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the Provider. Performs various technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative when applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures. Ensure that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with patient identification obtained before performing the procedure. Perform all procedures according to departmental protocol. Will need to work independently.

Bethany Medical is staffed with board certified physicians and providers representing sixteen medical specialties. Practice staff members are known for treating each patient with prompt personalized care and attention. Bethany Medical employs over sixty-five providers and over 550 employees.

The Triad includes Greensboro (3rd Largest City in NC), Winston-Salem, High Point, and surrounding areas. The Triad is centrally located in NC with a population of 1.9 million. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Dedicated to serving the BMC’s patients with a professional and respectful demeanor
- Perform vascular and/or general testing on patients
- Maintain the imaging equipment
- Order supplies needed for his/her area
- Performs other duties as assigned
- This is a full-time position working in the Triad North Carolina area
- ARRT, ARDMS and/or RVT Registration or registry available
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred
- Current BLS required
- At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting performing ultrasound strongly preferred
- Persuasive communication skills; verbal and written
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse patient population
- Professional aptitude, presentation, and demeanor
