We are looking for an Accountant / Experienced Bookkeeper who values accuracy, accountability, and strong client relationships. Someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, managing detailed financial data, and providing insightful support to clients and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including processing financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — addressing bookkeeping, payroll, and financial inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Manage chart of accounts and prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client service and accuracy across all deliverables.
- Assist with Corporate Annual Reports, Sales Tax, Tangible Personal Property schedules, Business Tax Licenses, and other regulatory reports as required.
- Prepare Workers’ Compensation and General Liability insurance audits as needed.
- Process client payroll, including live checks/direct deposits, payroll tax deposits, quarterly/annual returns, and W-2/W-3 forms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of bookkeeping procedures and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

Hours
- 40 hours per week on average
- Reduced summer hours May 1 - Labor Day
- Occasional nights or weekends may be required January - March
Experience & Education
- 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field preferred.
