As a Case Aide, you’ll be part of a foster parent’s Bethany team, supporting them and the child in their care. You’ll train, equip, and help connect foster parents to community resources to meet the child’s needs.

How Your Role Makes a Difference
- Provide transportation to clients, including medical appointments, legal appointments, hearings, and other social service agencies
- Effectively report children’s behaviors during transportation to foster parents and the treatment team
- Assist with intake and discharge-related transportation, including out-of-state travel for reunification with a sponsor
- Assist the medical team with administrative tasks, as needed
- Provide language interpretation for clients during community appointments, as needed
- Provide supervision of youth in the classroom, when needed
- Ensure professional boundaries are established and maintained at all times, especially when supervising youth
- Maintain knowledge of trauma and participate in ongoing training in the Sanctuary Model of Care to support a trauma-informed environment
- Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department
- May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany-sponsored event
- Complete other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Knowledge of trauma and willingness to be trained in the Sanctuary Model of Care to support a trauma-informed environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing and able to provide language interpretation services
- Must have an ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks
- Must be able to pass required medical examinations and have the physical ability to fulfill essential job functions, including physical restraints of a resident
- Successfully pass an annual TB test and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization
- Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage
- Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
