Job Purpose
|
The Groundskeeper maintains the appearance of the hospital and facility grounds through duties such as mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing our lawns and gardens. This position ensures the grounds represent the hospital’s standard of excellence and demonstrates a strong teamwork mentality with other facility teams. The groundskeeper is required to work outdoors year-round and in inclement weather. |
Qualifications

Education: |
High School Diploma or equivalent. |

Experience: |
2 years of basic lawn care experience required; 1 years of experience in commercial setting preferred. |

License/Certification/Credential: |
Valid driver’s license. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritizes and completes assigned groundskeeper tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, applying chemicals and fertilizer, seeding, and installing/repairing irrigation with a focus on quality and timeliness. |

Inspects grounds for trash and debris and takes appropriate actions to ensure our beautification standards are met. Occasional manual removal of snow and ice from walkways and driveways. |

Bethany Children’s Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
