What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher position at Beth Shalom Early Learning Center/Congregation Beth Shalom?
Beth Shalom Early Learning Center is looking for energetic assistant educators for our program. The position would allow you to work with children on a daily basis and, depending on your class placement, you could work with kids from infancy to prekindergarten age. Beth Shalom is a great place to grow and learn as a teacher, we are accredited through Keystone Stars 4A and NAEYC, and have a Reggio Emilia Art Studio as a part of our curriculum.
We are looking for loving, upbeat, team-oriented people. Our teachers utilize iPads to efficiently communicate and keep daily records of the students’ activities. The candidate will work on a team with 3- 4 other educators and learn and grow with mentorship from the lead educator. The hours will be a set schedule.
We will pay for First Aid and CPR training as well as clearances. After 90 days, you will receive 7 sick days and 5 vacation days per year. Upon hire you will need to obtain a physical and TB test. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Previous childcare experience is preferred.

- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws.
- Collaborate with team members to plan educational activities aligned with developmental milestones.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
