About the Role
At Beth's Bar & Grill, the bar is the heart of our restaurant. We are looking for high-energy, experienced bartenders who can craft signature cocktails, manage a busy rail, and provide exceptional service to our bar-top diners. Because we are a "made-from-scratch" operation, our bartenders are expected to have a deep understanding of our food menu and drink ingredients—from our house-infused spirits to our local craft beer rotations.

- Guest Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for guests at the bar. Provide quick, friendly, and attentive service while managing multiple open tabs.
- Full-Service Dining: Take and serve food orders for guests dining at the bar, ensuring they receive the same high-quality experience as our dining room guests.
- Bar Operations: Prepare fresh garnishes, stock ice, wash glassware, and maintain a spotless, organized bar environment throughout the shift.
- Alcohol Safety: Strictly adhere to Kansas liquor laws by verifying identification (21 ) and monitoring guest intoxication levels to ensure responsible service.
- POS & Cash Handling: Process payments accurately via the POS system and manage cash drawers with precision.
- Service Bar: Efficiently prepare drink orders for the floor server team to ensure timely service for the entire dining room.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and craft beer styles.
- Speed & Accuracy: The ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining a professional and upbeat attitude.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; you should be able to engage with regulars while working efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs (including cases of beer or glass racks).
- Legal: Must be at least 21 years of age and meet all local requirements for serving alcohol.
