Global Solutions Associate Overview
The primary purpose of the Global Solutions team is to support our broker clients in the global marketplace through the notification of shareholders of general meetings, granting shareholders the rights to vote and submitting vote instructions through the proper channels. The Event Discovery team’s purpose is to identify general meetings across the globe, set up meeting agendas, and complete the billing information as it pertains to each event on the Mediant platforms. The Verification team’s purpose is to ensure all information is accurate prior to the information being released for distribution to our clients. These actions are all performed within our established procedural and regulatory guidelines. The Tabulation team’s purpose is to collect vote instructions from shareholders and format Tabulation reports/instructions to submit to respective parties. This is a hybrid position, and we are looking for someone to come into our Cary, NC office 3 times per week.

Duties And Responsibilities Of The Global Solutions Associate
- Interpret and apply global regulatory requirements to all daily tasks, ensuring compliance across diverse jurisdictions
- Monitor and enforce market-specific requirements in over 30 countries, including accurate identification of record dates and voting deadlines
- Create and validate global corporate action events, including setting agendas, preparing billing information, and reviewing materials for accuracy
- Generate, verify, and authorize tabulation voting reports and vote instruction messages with precision and timeliness
- Execute all responsibilities in alignment with company guidelines and regulatory policies
- Proactively identify and escalate potential issues to mitigate risk and maintain compliance standards
- Consistently meet strict daily deadlines to ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering a strong team-oriented environment
- 3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills required, experience with Teams is a plus
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging services is preferred
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
