Beta Security Services is seeking dependable and professional Armed Security Officers for a daytime commercial plaza assignment. If you're someone who values professionalism, enjoys staying active, and takes pride in protecting people and property, we'd like to hear from you.
This position is ideal for officers who are reliable, communicate well, and enjoy working independently while being supported by an experienced management team.
Schedule
- Monday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Approximately 39 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and security-related situations.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers.
- Help provide a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is dependable and arrives ready for each scheduled shift.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has strong observation and communication skills.
- Is comfortable using mobile reporting applications and two-way radios.
- Can walk and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Has previous security, patrol, retail, or commercial property experience (preferred).
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Valid Florida Class G Armed Security License
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license (preferred for patrol assignments)
- Ability to write clear incident and activity reports
