Recreation Therapist – Ione, CA (Correctional Facility)
Pay: $7/hr | 1099 Contractor | Bi-weekly Pay
Contract: 6-Month Assignment – High Possibility to Extend or Go Permanent
Schedule Options:
- Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (30) or Tues-Friday 7 am-5:30pm (30)
(No weekends!)
Requirements:
- 1 year of Recreation Therapy experience
- Active CTRS, NCTRC, or CBPRC certification/license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
What You’ll Do:
- Develop & lead recreation therapy programs for patient-inmates
- Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT)
- Focus on daily living skills, communication, exercise, and coping strategies
