Pay Rate: $305 per hour, 1099 Contractor

Days & Shifts
- Monday or Friday 7:00A - 5:00P
- Must be available to train for 2-3 weeks full time Mon-Fri 7A-3:30P
Job Duties for Psychiatrist :
- Meet with mentally ill patient - inmate for crisis interventions, face to face interviews
- Conduct initial mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess inmates current needs and make treatment recommendations in the initial evaluation.
- Document all care provided to the patient-inmate, including face to face contacts and IDTT meetings.
Requirements for Psychiatrist:
- Physician & Surgeon License in CA
- ABPN Certificate or
- 3 year Psychiatry Residency Certificate
- BLS from American Heart Association
- DEA & Cures
- Must have your own malpractice insurance
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions across a broad spectrum of disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Manage medication regimens while monitoring for efficacy and side effects, ensuring compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations.
- Provide crisis management and acute psychiatric care for patients experiencing mental health emergencies or behavioral crises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Conduct outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth consultations for diverse populations including pediatric, geriatric, and individuals with developmental disabilities or PTSD.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with healthcare diagnosis standards, health regulation policies, and advances in psychiatric research.
Pay: From $12,200.00 per week
