Respiratory Care Instructor

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and hold either a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. (No patient care).
2. Possess and maintain an active, unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in any U.S. state or territory.
3. Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in acute care settings, with at least two (2) years in critical care.
4. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS).
5. Shall complete the Basic Instructors Course (BIC) within 60 days of hire, then complete 60 instructor hours to be qualified.
6. Employee must be able to lift < 50 pounds and move human patient simulation equipment to and from training areas, work in low-light, high-volume environments, and differing weather conditions simulating actual aeromedical evacuation missions.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

1. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
2. Prior military or CCAT aeromedical evacuation experience.
