We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and performing various medical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Manage patient care in family medicine office settings, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
- At least 3 years previous experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care required.
- Proficiency in medication administration and familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for effective medical documentation.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) is preferred.
