Job Overview
16 to 24 hours or as needed. Mostly second shift
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Manage reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering local recommendations
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette and clear communication
- Maintain guest relations by responding to special requests, managing complaints, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times
- Support night audit functions when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred, with familiarity in hotel management systems like OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest services standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone communication and client interaction
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: $14.00 per hour
