Job Overview
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area to ensure guests enjoy a pleasant dining experience. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering excellent service that aligns with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area before guest service hours begin.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are stocked, fresh, and presented attractively.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with food or beverage requests.
- Monitor food temperatures, replenish items as needed, and maintain cleanliness throughout the service period.
- Clear tables, clean equipment, and sanitize all service areas after breakfast concludes.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health department regulations.
- Report maintenance or supply needs promptly to management.
- Support other hotel departments as needed and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
