We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while ensuring thorough cleaning practices.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.
Experience & Requirements
- Bilingual (English required; additional languages preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience or at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role is required.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and guests.
- A background in custodial services or general cleaning is advantageous.
