Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests at Best Western. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing reservations, processing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a positive guest experience aligned with Best Western brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately
- Verify guest information, assign rooms, and issue room keys
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room changes
- Process payments, post charges, and balance cash drawers
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Follow safety, security, and privacy procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality experience preferred)
- Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel management systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
