Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight front desk operations, ensure accurate financial reporting through the night audit process, and deliver exceptional guest services during nighttime hours. Your energetic approach and commitment to hospitality excellence will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining smooth hotel operations.
Duties
- Conduct the night audit by reconciling daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA and other reservation platforms
- Manage late-night check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Monitor security cameras and perform safety checks around the property to uphold hotel security protocols
- Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and provide personalized guest relations to enhance satisfaction
- Prepare detailed reports on daily financial activities, occupancy rates, and operational incidents for management review
- Maintain accurate records of all night shift activities, including incident reports and shift logs
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures, ensuring guest safety during any unforeseen situations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette and problem-solving ability
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and property security measures
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
- Previous resort experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in various hospitality environments
