We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor to join our team and ensure our guests have a smooth and secure overnight experience.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As our Night Auditor, you are the cornerstone of our overnight operations, ensuring accuracy and providing essential guest services. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial & Administrative Accuracy
Reconcile all financial transactions from the day's operations, including guest accounts, credit card payments, and direct billings.
Audit and balance daily cash receipts, preparing deposits and resolving any discrepancies.
Process end-of-day reports and prepare for the next business day.
Input data accurately into the property management system (PMS).
Guest Services & Security
Provide friendly and efficient check-ins and check-outs for guests arriving or departing during the overnight hours.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
Handle reservation changes or new bookings for future dates.
Monitor hotel security during the night, conducting regular property walks and addressing any unusual activity.
Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, following established protocols.
Operational Support
Prepare and distribute various daily reports to relevant departments.
Assist with basic concierge services and provide local information to guests.
Ensure the lobby and common areas remain tidy and presentable.
Collaborate with early morning staff to ensure a smooth transition from night to day operations.
What You Bring
Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is preferred.
Strong mathematical and accounting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency with computer systems, particularly property management systems (PMS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a quiet environment.
A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
