Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and installations while providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Perform residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.
• Lawn and grounds keeping.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Proficient in fabricating parts and performing welding tasks when necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in residential painting techniques.
• Supervisory skills to manage maintenance staff effectively when required.
• Strong customer service orientation, ensuring resident satisfaction with maintenance services.
