Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage register operations with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen stations, and equipment.
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean environment for customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Engage in basic math calculations for sales totals, change, and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques is beneficial.
