Great Day Juice Company offers healthy grab & go style foods and quick order/serve smoothies, smoothie bowls, and other menu quick prep menu items. The store is not a full service, sit down restaurant, therefore table waiting is not part of the job, however customer service and menu item prep is part of the job. Some items (juices, etc) will be pre-made and pre-packaged for grab & go.
Duties will include :
-customer service-take orders, make smoothies/bowls/other items according to recipe
-greet, take customer orders and provide change back to customer
-prep produce - this requires using knives, peelers, etc
-rotating ingredient inventory and stocking freezers/refrigerators/dry ingredients
-following washing/sanitizing procedures as trained
-light cleaning
-menu item assembly (following recipes to create consistency with menu items)
-following all food safety guidelines as will be trained
**With appropriate prior experience and ability, this candidate may reconsidered for an assistant manager position at a higher pay rate to be established upon appointment.
The person filling this position will also be cross-trained to not only work the front of the house, but may learn the operations of producing the in-house bottled cold-pressed juice and will be scheduled some days to complete the juice making duties or assist with that.
Tips may be earned therefore increasing the pay scale to an average of $13 per hour. Tips are not guaranteed.
