Sr. Manager - Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

Job Title: Senior Manager - Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) - Onsite

Salary : $135K-$150K with full time benefits

Requirement Details:

1. Lead and oversee all transportation technology maintenance operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance, and operational excellence.
2. Develop and implement operational standards, maintenance procedures, performance metrics, and long-term strategies supporting business growth and evolving ITS technologies.
3. Manage operational budgets, cost controls, forecasting, resource planning, and financial performance while supporting estimating and pricing activities.
4. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, traffic engineering standards, safety regulations, and client service expectations.
5. Direct and support program managers, supervisors, and field teams, ensuring effective workforce scheduling, equipment utilization, and resource allocation.
6. Oversee maintenance and support activities for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), including CCTV, DMS, traffic detection systems, fiber optics, wireless communications, networking, and roadway technology infrastructure.
7. Manage emergency response operations, after-hours support coverage, escalated technical issues, customer concerns, and critical operational incidents.
8. Lead employee development through mentoring, hiring, performance management, succession planning, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
9. Ensure quality assurance through oversight of fleet assets, testing equipment, tools, inventory management, compliance audits, and client performance reviews.
10. Serve as a senior client liaison and industry representative, supporting stakeholder engagement, contract management, operational review meetings, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in ITS, transportation technology, roadway operations, traffic signal systems, or infrastructure maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical operations and field service teams.
• Strong knowledge of traffic management systems, ITS devices, communications infrastructure, networking technologies, service-level agreements, and maintenance performance standards.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, operational efficiency, multi-site teams, and service delivery programs.
