Job Overview
Local applicants in Plano TX and surroundings up to 10 miles only!!!
We are looking for a Locksmith Technician to join our local locksmith company,
Morning (9am to 5pm) Afternoon - evening shift (2pm to 9pm)
Hourly commission bonuses
*****Must have a Locksmith experience or technical experience ****
Must have clean record!
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace locks on doors, windows, safes, and other security devices.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical locking mechanisms.
- Provide clients with advice on security measures and recommend appropriate locking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of locks and keys.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various types of locks, keys, and security systems.
- Proficiency in using locksmithing tools, including an ohmmeter for electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
