What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locksmith Field Technician position at 911 Locksmith and Security?
We are currently seeking loyal, hardworking, and highly motivated individuals to join our team!
We are a local, family-owned security and locksmith business that has served the Dallas-Fort Worth community since 2007.We provide a path for career growth in the residential, commercial, and access control sectors.
What We’re Looking For?
No prior locksmith experience is required, but you must be mechanically inclined. We are looking for "handy" individuals with experience in areas such as:
- Electrical or mechanical repairs
- Woodworking or door hardware installation
- General home or building maintenance
- Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be 18 and able to pass a criminal background check (required for Texas Licensing).
- Must have a valid license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Must be available to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do (After Paid Training):
- Provide emergency lockout services for vehicles and residential/commercial properties.
- Install, repair, and service door locks and hardware.
- Perform rekeying and master key system setup.
- Work on commercial accesscontrol and electronic lock installations.
- Operate a company work van and use power tools/key-cutting machines.
Compensation & Benefits
