Yard Coordinator - Construction Equipment

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Yard Coordinator to join our team at our Muncy, PA location. This position plays a critical role in supporting our rental, sales, and service operations by ensuring equipment is properly prepared, inspected, organized, and ready to meet customer needs.

As a Yard Coordinator, you will work with a diverse fleet of construction, industrial, landscaping, aerial, and material handling equipment while interacting with customers, drivers, technicians, and branch personnel. Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload equipment for customer pickups, deliveries, and transportation.
• Load and unload equipment onto vehicles, which may involve operating a forklift, climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle and moving equipment.
• Assemble new equipment for rental and or sale.
• Run and test all functions of equipment for final inspection.
• Explain equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance requirements to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional yard environment.
• Fill propane tanks and perform other basic yard support duties.
• Work closely with rental, sales, and service departments to support daily operations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, landscaping, agriculture, transportation, warehousing, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment operation and inspection procedures.
• Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, or other equipment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and fellow employees.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00/hour (dependent upon experience)
