Best Learning Center in Brea is a highly rated tutoring and enrichment hub. We offer after‑school, summer, and enrichment programs (including homework help, test prep, STEAM, debate/speech clubs) with small class sizes.
What We’re Looking For
Energetic, responsible, and creative tutors to help motivated students excel in:
- Math (Grades 3-6)
- Reading & comprehension
- Grammar & writing
(Science instruction a bonus)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)
- Solid subject knowledge and teaching/tutoring experience (min. 1 year preferred)
- Dynamic teaching style with innovation and initiative
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with students
- Punctuality and reliability
- Must clear a full background check
Your Responsibilities:
- Teach core lessons using our curriculum
- Facilitate group classes of 4–12 students
- Track and document student performance
- Provide creative academic support and problem-solving solutions
- Must be available to pick up students by academy van when needed
Schedule & Compensation:
- Days: Mon, Tue, Thu (2:00 PM–5:45 PM); Wed (2:00 PM–5:30 PM)
- Hours: 12–18 per week
- Pay: $21–26/hour
- Location: In-person at 307 N Berry St, Brea, CA
