Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in HVAC/R systems, with at least a basic understanding of refrigeration, commercial and residential equipment repair. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
We use ServiceTitan as our field dispatching software, experience with this program is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, Diagnose and Repair HVAC/R systems, including possibly refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to heating and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with team members to design effective solutions for HVAC challenges.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites as required for field service operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
- Looking to hire someone with their Electrical LEB or Maintenance electrical license.
- Strong skills in equipment repair and appliance repair are preferred.
- Experience in designing HVAC solutions or systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in the field as a van driver, managing time efficiently between multiple job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently or as part of a team.
- Clean driving record.
