- Safe Transit: Pick up and drop off pet guests from/to their homes, ensuring they are secure in the vehicle and arrive safely at the facility.
- Professional Hand-off: Present pets directly to owners and handle pet belongings and contracts (signatures/check-in) with excellence.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and sanitize vehicles after each use; strictly adhere to all motor vehicle laws and safety regulations.
- Pet Engagement: Monitor playgroups, interact with pets, and assist in valet zones when needed.
- Communication: Identify irregular animal behavior and communicate road or pet concerns immediately to the Manager on Duty.
- Safety Standards: Keep pets crated or leashed at all times and ensure all human riders wear seatbelts while the vehicle is in motion.

Qualifications & Job Functions
- Possess a love of animals and a professional manner at all times.
- Clean Driving Record: Must pass a background check of driving record and hold a current, valid driver’s license.
- Strong Communication: Ability to resolve problems quickly and interact professionally with customers and co-workers.
- Physical Ability: Lift/carry 40 pounds or more and stand/walk/climb stairs frequently.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Able to work on a computer system and handle dogs in environments with exposure to animal dander and sanitation chemicals.
- Safe Handling: Follows strict safe handling procedures for pets in and out of vehicles.
- Reliability: Abides by all facility rules, regulations, and smoke-free vehicle policies.
- Teamwork: Supports the Mission and Philosophy of Paws Pet Resort and Best Friends Pet Care, Inc.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
