We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our flooring operations team. This role involves receiving, storing, and preparing flooring materials for delivery or customer pickup. Proven forklift operation skills are required to handle safely and move heavy flooring products.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload flooring materials
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations
• Pull and prepare orders for installation crews, deliveries, or customer pickups
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with regular inventory audits
• Load/unload trucks and delivery vehicles
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Coordinate with sales and installation teams to ensure timely product availability
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience preferred
• Ability to read work orders, invoices, and product labels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly
• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature changes, dust, etc.)
