Position Summary / Primary Purpose

A Retail & Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting our customers with product and equipment in our retail store. In addition, the associate ensures the showroom and warehouse is clean, organized and stocked. A Retail & Warehouse Associate will be required to perform a wide range of tasks, including administrative tasks.

Essential Functions

· Organizes retail showroom and warehouse(s). Keeps all areas tidy and presentable.

· Assist manager(s) with duties, as assigned.

· Invoicing and other administrative tasks, including QBO tasks.

· Assist customers with purchases and loading & unloading of equipment.

· Stocks and organizes the showroom and warehouse.

· Informs/conducts inventory checks and informs the manager on inventory levels.

· Receives inventory, verifies quantities shipped, and organizes inventory.

· Maintains rental equipment cleanliness.

· Maintains showroom & warehouse cleanliness (window cleaning, vacuum carpet, removing trash, bathroom cleaning, organization)

· Builds and forms relationships with customers and assists with internal and external sales.

· Performs product demonstrations for customers, as required.

· Perform deliveries and pick-ups of inventory and rentals, as required.

· Answers and returns phone calls in a professional and timely manner.

· Perform business errands, as required.

· Maintains company fleet (safety check, oil change, etc.)

· Assists with retail training, as required (workshops, seminars, training)

· Perform other related duties and activities, as required.

· Occasional travel, maybe required.

Equipment Operated

· Forklift experience preferred. Willing to train.

· Rental equipment (pressure washer, auto-scrubbers, floor machines, grinders, etc.)

· Company vehicles

· Power tools and hand tools

· POS, Computer, and QuickBooks Online

Education and Experience

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous work experience as a Retail & Warehouse associate is desired, but not required.

· Experience with administrative duties and QuickBooks Online

· Experience with hand and electrical tools

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to pick up and move 50 lbs.

· Manual dexterity and physical stamina

· Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time

· Professional appearance (*branded uniform – covered footwear, no board shorts, no hats, etc.)

Job Type: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: Based on experience, starting at $22.00/hour
