What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate-Cannelton IN position at BEST CHAIRS INCORPORATED?
Knu LLC is currently looking for qualified individuals interested in our Production and Manufacturing positions at our Cannelton IN facility.
Essential functions can include the following:
- Assembly
- Deliver stock to the manufacturing area and put away incoming stock.
- Assemble metal parts using nuts, screws, and bolts to form a mechanism ready for installation
- Sorting and staging of product
- Perform job tasks identified in the department's work instruction in a timely and efficient manner
- Must learn all aspects of the manufacturing tasks within the department
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Repetitive reaching, pushing/pulling, and twisting
- Maintain a consistent work pace and excel in a fast paced work environment
- Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
- Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs as production dictates
- Lifting weight: up to 20 lbs. frequent along with 60 lbs. team lifting
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent
