Best Care Home Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Carlisle, SC. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their home environment
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands or transportation
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation per agency guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or Caregiver preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-first attitude
- Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
